Hello everyone. Sorry I've neglected you but as this is only a sort of blog and not where I earn money it ended up at the back of the queue. I may need to stop sending the newsletter.

It made me think however....maybe if I use it to make offers each time and it begins to pay for itself I can keep it going......let's give it a try. (probably get a lot of unsubscribes now)

Nadya had a problems with her 'life in the UK' examination. I put it down to pressure. She pressured herself to take the exam prior to the expiration of her visa to save the £475.00 visa extension fee. We've since applied for the extension so now she has two years to study more before she needs to take the test again. Pressure removed....at a cost.

I've even got my member of parliament on the case, not that I disagree with the test but because, in the two years we had to wait before we could apply for the next stage, they didn't advise us of the requirement nor was it made public until recently when the new government took over.

I changed the domain name for my audio books site. Why?.....cos when I first bought the license I knew little about search engine optimization (SEO). Having studied SEO techniques since, I realise there were two serious errors in choosing that name.

The original name 'audio books shop' confines it more to the UK whereas 'store' would have at least intimated the US, other parts of the world as well as the UK.

1. The original name is searched for 210 times per month globally (on average)
   
2. The new name is searched for 301,000 times per month globally (on average)

Why don't some of you at least go grab some of the over 40 free audio books. There's stuff there for the kids as well as grown ups in all sorts of categories.

One of our members, Justyn Sweany Wolf, (I introduced her way back) is someone to be admired. She is not always in the best of health and yet,  through sheer guts and determination she continues to turn out some beautiful art in the form of Jewelry, Photos, Note cards and God knows what else.

I managed to get myself off the blood pressure drug prescribed some years back when I got a bit close to popping off. Two things I now do which I didn't do before is a daily run (I had stopped on Doctor's orders until we found that I'd been mis-diagnosed) and now that I'm married I only eat home cooking and can control my salt intake. As a bonus, I've lost 4 kilos in weight. Good eh?

If you're not in the best of condition or over 45 go get yourself an Omron Blood Pressure Monitor at my site. Mine kept me informed ever since I got it and obviously, I check often just in case.

If you know someone who's pregnant you may want to pass on this information in case they've been prescribed this drug. 

You can read up on the use of Microwave ovens and make up your own minds about using them. I do for a quick heating jobby but I stand well away from the door.
