Hello.....A warm welcome to all new members....C joined today but I can't
name her of course.
I'd first like to apologize to those of you that got the wrong link when you
re-subscribed from the old membership club mailing list. You ended up with three e-books that you didn't choose
yourselves....good e-books but not what you might have wanted. Let me know if it was you and I'll send you the
proper link to choose any three books as promised. You can use the comments box below if you wish.
Can anyone make a suggestion of a name for my newsletter? I can't keep calling it
'the next newsletter'. Use the comment box below?....thanks.
Today contains;
Members' contributions (content that is)
My new Toy
Duplicate content penalties
Harnessing the Healing Powers of Music
Amusing video
A great deal of 'content' from members is piling up so I'll need to promote a
couple or more in each newsletter. Also, what I've done is to add a 'Members'
Contributions' link in the navigation on the left so you can easily find the content.
My new toy is fixed and I hope you're going to use it. It's a facility for you to
make comments on what you read here, about something you'd like to read or see or indeed anything else. For those
of you with websites, blogs or a social media type page it's a good way to get one way backlinks.
There's an article by Jill Whalen on the subject of the often feared duplicate
content penalty. Jill is a specialist in the field of SEO and charges fortunes for her courses.
Think about duplicate content for a minute. It doesn't make sense to think that if you put an article from one of
the article sites (such as Ezine articles) on you website or blog you and many others who also added that same
article to their site or blog would be penalised by Google or any other search engine or, as someone
suggested, closing you down.
If you want to use it, the blood pressure page it's here.
An article was sent in to me by Health Sciences Institute that I though was worth
including...read it here
In the next newsletter I'll have a proposal
for anyone who has a site or blog on the following subjects;
Creativity, Health & Fitness, Interpersonal Skills, Knowledge & Learning, Motivation, Personal Growth,
Self Hypnosis, Sex & Relationships, Stress, Management Success, or Time Management.
You'll be able to earn some money from it if you do it right.
Rather an amusing video for you to watch.
